Today we had a very special #paleostream! We looked into the anatomy, ecology and phylogeny of #Numidotherium, one of the earliest and WEIRDEST proboscideans ever! It's a roughly tapir sized animal from the Eocene of Algeria, from the El Kohol formation. (1/many)

Btw. for those who don't know: we meet every second Friday to draw together, all the subjects are voted on beforehand and we set a timer of 20 min for each sketch.

I'm not big on collecting things, but what i collect is ideas, one of them I just found again and I would like to hear your opinion on it: would you be interested in a small book, dealing with small prehistoric animals in life size.
