So Saturdays, my friends and I started Face Club. Quite simple: we'd take turns posing for a one-shot, three-hour portrait. They were More Work, more cuts with the sword, of course. But.

As a rule, sheets full of quick sketches of heads and hands and variants simply aren't salable objects. Certainly there are exceptions, and there are collectors who are very interested in the process, but as a generality, they're functional & will get filed or destroyed.

Dropping the dramatic voice, here are a few more, mostly one-off characters; these would have been largely AD&D or 3rd ed D&D. The only name I can recall is Haimos, who is wearing one too many cloaks.

Christian Al-Wasim was a dancer in a dead-end town, but a strange meeting, awakens his memory & his true name: Bagoas, reborn for thousands of years, driven by loyalty to his love. The Dead have vowed to stop him in his quest--and prevent the resurrection of Alexander the Great.

Connor, though not Fae, is a kinain: the blood of the Fair Folk flows in him. When one of his classmates casts a Glamour on him, showing him the Dreaming that lies parallel to the banal world, it brings him joy and love--but there is tragedy too in the Barony of Ivoryweald.

Have model in tonight, currently reworking the head and shoulders of a full-length figure. This area will be treated at least once more before I finish the piece, but I'm still fiddling with drawing issues and the overall light effect across the canvas.
