It was Wader Conservation World Watch event this past weekend. November is not the best period shorebird-wise in Hungary, so it was pleasing to find good numbers of Lapwings and Curlews in my favourite area in Kiskunság National Park. Here are a few sketches I made. #wcww8

There are animals that I don't remember how long I am a fan of. Oryx is such a species. Seeing them with the background of the red dunes of Sossusvlei will definately inspire paintings in the future.
