(Usually I struggle with side profiles, but I think this one looks decent! A lot of poses I'd like to draw need me to draw the face from the side, so... I'd better start practicing more!)

Messing around with brushes, and I can't tell if trying to translate my usual eye 'colouring' style on paper into a digital form makes it look uncanny or not.

Either way, here's a quick scribble of Ryan in a sweater.

When the rest of the platoon is doing something dumb again and you can't be bothered to stop them, so you just sit and wait for disaster to unfold with a cup of coffee in hand, because at this point only caffeine can help you maintain your sanity.

To reduce everything down to 16 colours, I think I have to give up the orange. The other option is making the eyes + hair tie the same blue as the hair, but I'm less fond of it, to be honest – it feels like a more drastic change?
