Using Ninian as a base for Katarina lets me do things like:
1. budget Plegian costume
2. Katarina... but possessed

I'm not done with her hair yet. The purple reminds me a little bit of Lute. Trying to find the right colours for her eyes is also a bit of a pain, for some reason.

I'm back to GBA sprite splicing! Here's M!Kris, finally reunited with the half of his platoon that I actually have finished (which will be linked in the thread below!).

Kris... isn't doing so well with being chibi-fied. I still have to do some more editing by hand.

The good news is that I found a solution to make the colours not so janky, so I won't have to correct hundreds of shades of what is essentially the same colour. Time saving!

Actually, even with the hair unfinished, I think he looks alright! I need to change the purple outline to make it a bit darker.

I have given up on the hair and moved on to the clothes for now. Still in progress.

I know I keep switching between doing different things. I have several tabs open of things I haven't finished yet...

I wanted to try sketching some FEH art in my own style. I might finish off with the 7th Platoon girls later (and maybe Cecil and Ryan too).

You learn a surprising amount from damaged art, like what the inside of armour looks like! ...I don't have any other excuses for myself.

I think Kris's hair has currently been the hardest to edit. I still need to work on it, but at least I have his signature hair tufts done (borrowed Clarine's hair for it).

I'm back with this! Hopefully, at least, I'm going to make some progress on this before I go to bed. Hint, the bases I'm using right now for the face and hair are Raven and Eliwood.

I am so bad at picking colours, send help.

I'll take a break and come back later – maybe that'll work. (Whenever I announce that I'm doing something, the next day I end up doing something completely different. I still have a page of writing and the GBA sprites to get back to...)
