With Kitty and Colossus I think they were doing the soap opera "will they, won't they" and by the time it happened it was Ellis writing her IIRC in Excalibur, as her hooking up with him was a bone of contention(pun somewhat intended).

@GridZeta @Ciaranredokeefe I see why people like it. Though a great thing that came out of it was the Clone Wars Adventures digests. They are great!

When it comes to Wolverine, this is where it all started to go wrong. Wolverine #166 where he goes back to the Weapon X facility and gets this memories restored as it leads into the "Origin" mini-series.

"Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter" the 4 issue mini-series by Dan Abnett, Tom and Sian Mandrake based on the Hammer film is one hell of a great read. Action packed, mystery elements, great character writing, and variety of vampires. Highly recommended you give it a read.
