In the past you'd have covers by one artist and interiors by another, say a Keith Pollard cover with Infantino or Starlin interiors. But when they stunt cast a cover, especially for a crowdfunded comic I see it as them having little confidence in the interior artist.
One of my favorite comics of the past decade was Paul Pope's "Battling Boy". While it's superhero-like, it leans more towards mythic hero and pulp hero concepts. I enjoyed it due to the unique world and characters within it.
@POTUSThump The vast majority of comics is cartooning, so everyone going "the anatomy is wrong" gets turned to white noise as far as I'm concerned. I do think they are limits, but that's up to everyone to decide when it's a ugly joke, and what not.
A tale of bitter betrayal and loss on a grand scale. The 4th and final book(and TPB)of @joshuahoward's T-BIRD & THROTTLE is now being crowdfunded. You can read the #0 issue and the first 30 pages of issue #1. Josh delivers quality story, and quality art. https://t.co/K5YiG6xYjJ
Cyber Force/Hunter-Killer is such a great looking, and entertaining comic, you have Kenneth Rocafort who's giving the comic his all, I think it's my favorite comic he's done and may be last Mark Waid comic I loved.
Also premiering on June 25th, 1982 was John Carpenter's The Thing, perhaps the best remake out there.

Art of Zofia, you will be able to see more of her in my upcoming comic, FLAPJACK: GRAVE CONCERNS.
The story was so very bland, what little story was there, "Not-Conan"'s family is killed, he fights their killers, is hurt, flees into a cave, ends up in modern day. That's it. At least Deadato Jr. refrained from photo referencing/swiping Schwarzenegger for the lead.
So I read Berserker Unbound by Jeff Lemire and Mike Deodato Jr. I'd previously given it a hardtime based on previews, and after reading issue #1, that criticism was justified.
Holy Decompression Batman!
