Just watched "The Boyfriend School"(aka Don't Tell Her It's Me) it's a strange movie along the lines of a Savage Steve Holland film. About a guy who's just battled cancer who falls in love, and transforms himself into a Kiwi biker named Lobo to win the affections of this woman.
@PunchDrunkKing I've been meaning to read this miniseries but just haven't done so.
Though I will say, the costume for Kitty in it may be my favorite of hers.
Thinking about Walt Simonson it made me think of such a underappreciated comic from 20 years ago, ORION. It flew under the radar then and does now. DC released a omnibus collecting all 25 issues, and it is such a satisfying read. It's a space opera of epic proportions.
I'm reading The Adventures of Tintin: Explorers On The Moon and was surprised to see this "moon tank" in a comic from 1954 that looks extremely close to modern tank like the Abrams.
@PunchDrunkKing I just remembered that there was a ESPers series from Eclipse in the 80's. It was a 4 issue mini that stated with #4 it'd be a continuing series, but ended with issues #5.
@RandleBraylon @bigblueUel @PunchDrunkKing Ballistic is pretty great, but I'm torn as I grew to love Velocity more.
@PunchDrunkKing Haha, I was thinking he looked more like the villain, Puma.
