I go with C, but I'm kind of biased . . .

Did a school visit this afternoon where I led students in designing crests for magical schools, then writing acceptance letters to those schools.
Looking forward to see what they produce! Here's the crest I designed for the school in Spell Sweeper.

Today, we’re discussing two amazing books, both by : Inside Out & Back Again and Butterfly Yellow.

Bookplates! If you’re picking up SPELL SWEEPER from my local Indie bookseller, , then you’ll automatically get a signed copy, but I’ve also sent signed bookplates to and (I’ll be doing virtual events with both soon—stay tuned)! ✨🧹✨

Day 29 ~ I don't have the time to binge series anymore, as I'm always on the lookout for new books for my students. But when I was a kid, I binged them all the time, especially Narnia.

Day 22 ~ It has such great visuals, I'd love to see Witch Hat Aterlier get a film! I think animation is the way to go for this one, since art is the source of magic. Don't ask me about casting, though!

Day 20 ~ I always loved the cover for 's Front Desk, illustrated by —which is why my heart nearly stopped when I found out she was doing the cover for Spell Sweeper.

Day 8: The magical item I want is from The Twelve by — the Coppice Comb! It causes trees to sprout around you, protecting you from danger. (But I want to point out that there are many amazing treasures in this book series.)

Day 5 - I always wanted to live in The Emerald City (especially as depicted by ). Who doesn't want to hang out with that zany citizenry? But I would also love to live in Koriko from Kiki's Delivery Service by Eiko Kadono.

Day 3. I really loved Endor College, the creepy school of witchcraft in The Little Broomstick by Mary Stewart, which was of the books that inspired my upcoming Spell Sweeper. (It's school, btw, is called Dragonsong Academy.) 🐉🎶
