#MGBooktober Day 30—this prompt made me realize there are a ton of books that I've read that have been made into movies that I haven't seen. But this is one that is the opposite: THE NEVERENDING STORY.

Day 12 of #MGbooktober. It has a title that suggests silliness, but this book by @nesbo_jo is so much more than that. It has a lovable protagonist, a delightful plot, and a good message.

A dragon egg NOT made by me, but by Hiro. Completely his design—he stuck on the jewels, chose his colours, and globbed on the paint. The only thing I did was add a coat of modpodge. Not bad for a two year old! 🐉 🥚

I'm going to use it as the cover art for an anthology of student writing—I taught "Wizard School" to a bunch of talented tweens and teens over the summer and this book will celebrate their words and artwork.
