Which is actually good IMHO. I just prefer the whole driving feel if there's a bit more body-roll and over-steer than you get from a Lotus. (Not that Lotus on the Amiga - and *cough* other machines *cough* - wasn't awesome.) 😁

So there are a couple of objectives to keep your mind on: Identify the loop that is the track, and get around it quicker than your opponent. Then you can open up on them with your weapons and run their lives out. Bonus points if you prevent them from completing a lap.

Once you get into the game itself, it's all slick raytraced graphics, with dabs of cartoon-y scrawling to give it character. 👍 The music and sound will let the neighbours know that you're hooked up to a good stereo too. Much bass-y goodness to be had.

High Noon is a great wee shooter, where you have to defend the town against outlaws who want to rob the bank, kidnap girls from the saloon, or just casually drop a stick of dynamite at your feet on their way to rob or kidnap. 😮 Lovely town. 😁 Still a fun shoot-em-up in my book.

Adventures in joystickery again: This time it's High Noon on the C64. You know, I think I've been underestimating in the past just how much of a handicap keyboard control is. Playing this with a proper joystick I can get a ton further than I got with cursor-keys for movement. 🤔
