I was totally addicted to it .. until (finally) Exploding Fist came out on computer. 😁 The bull was hard to defeat, until I saw another guy do it: just two back-flips then crouch-punch. (both sticks up, the left stick down.) Gets him every time. Don't even have to look. 😎

I really loved the *tournament* version of this one.
Just the different spacing of the characters at the start of each round would mess me up with this one (the versus version of Karate Champ). 😁

@shieladixon All three are really fun games IMHO. It's worth reading the instructions too, as each one has quite a back-story. 🤔 I could only get Fractalus to work with the SuperCPU (in VICE). Koronis would turn too fast to be controllable, and I couldn't get The Eidolon to load at all. 😐

@shieladixon Also worth mentioning: It will work with CMD's SuperCPU for the C64, with a butter-smooth frame-rate. 👍 And if you like this, Lucasfilm's other fractal games were also stunning. I think Koronis Rift was the next one I saw, and in turn became addicted to too. 😋

It looks someone took The Chaos Engine and made it instantly cooler by putting Batman in middle. 😁

@UridiumAuthor So, if it was Hybris running in fast bursts, Ghosts 'n Goblins just not working (til WHDLoad), something hating the 040 caches, or a game trying to attach its view to the current screen, not realising it wasn't PAL. Every upgrade taught me new tricks of how to degrade the system.

@UridiumAuthor Every Amiga upgrade I went thru (A500, A1200, 030 accelerator, A4000, 040 accelerator, PicassoIV GFX) it was a game of "I wonder what won't work now?" Plenty of assumptions about CPU/Chipset speed, Kickstart routines, or even the Workbench screen I was launching from. *sigh* 😐

@Spookysoft_Hi @UridiumAuthor Yeah, it was wee touches like that. My brother came back home after having seen it, and was telling me tales of blowing the head off this droid and the body continuing to shoot randomly, and I was like "no f--ing way!" 😮
