@rexthedogge @CthGodkiller I've got both the DOS and Amiga versions of it. It's the usual deal with pre-AGA Amiga stuff, where it feels like the graphics were designed for the full VGA colour palette, and cut down to 32 colours for the Amiga port. But both look good, all the same.
@rexthedogge @CthGodkiller The comic-book feel of it is well implemented..
Great moments that feel like they came right out of a 2000AD panel.
@jamesthomson I think I was in such a trance, I didn't think to click at all. 😋
Then I did, and there were weird and glorious shapes and patterns .. then my mind tried to work out some of the math involved .. my brain broke at that point. 🤯
Love the scroll-text one. Very demo-scene. 😎
@C64TimeLine Oh yeah.. That is totally Pogo Joe.
I love that game. With many arcade games we wish the C64 could have just a passable version. But this is like Q*Bert, only much much better. (IMHO of course.) And has gorgeous cartoon-y sprites. 👍
@dantemendes If you have an Amiga with a good amount of ChipRAM there are fx and voice-prompts to announce the power-up's collected. When I moved from the A500 to A1200 I noticed a lot less dropped frames when I was zipping about the surface of the ship at crazy speeds. Just a gorgeous game.
@dantemendes Uridium 2 is such a beautifully presented game. Heck, even before you get to the game itself, there are so many gorgeous loading screens, title screens, and bits of music that really get you into the zone for some sublime blasting. 😁
@PdogGray @RetroBoyJon @RetroCollect @TheRetroRoomRoo I missed all the hype on Rise of the Robots. So when we did see it, we quickly worked out that is wasn't half as much fun as IK+. 😁 (Unless you enjoy fighting games where you just hold jump-kick until you defeat everybody.) 😋
