@16bitnostalgia Ah, still such an excellent game.
For me it was the first time that I played an FPS game on a console, and it didn't feel like massive compromise over mouse+keys. Also it was a super fun, which is a bonus. 😁

@Bhaal_Spawn Oh, but you're the girl with that fancy new-fangled Doom game.
All the *real* adults are on Wolf 3D.
😋
@Sophia_Nyx Most people probably know Destruction Derby from the PSX version, but the DOS game is darned near identical. (Gameplay is the same as on the PlayStation, but with some changed menu options IIRC.)
Still fun to drive (badly) about in it today. 😁
@FloppyDeepDive Also, one heck of a lot of sprite multiplexing and bonus/pause sub-game bits to distract you too.
@zappedtothe I'd managed to learn Trailblazer well, and was reasonably good at that. 🤔 But it was a challenge and, I think, by the time I got to the sequel "Cosmic Causeway" I didn't really want to start learning it all from scratch again. 😁 I love the amazing fast 3D grid. Impressive. 👍
@OldSchoolBooks1 I remember seeing this on demo on a C64 at the computer shop. 🤔 It may have been the first game that I heard with speech. ..I could never get past the first stage back then. 😁
@LoveRetroBTW I first say Spy vs Spy on cassette on the old C64.
Such an excellent game. There's nothing else quite like it.
(Except for the sequels.)
😁
