It’s funny- the other day at an zine signing I had to explain the joke behind a couple of my comic strips. I thought they were funny, but some folks just didn’t get them. Not the 1st time someone hasn’t gotten my humor- & I enjoyed creating the toons! 🤓

. - here’s a favorite comic cover. As a kid I picked up a copy at a local corner grocery store newsstand that was slow to do returns. Whenever I think of this is the first image that comes to mind. I love the painted Charlton & Gold Key covers.

I don’t self-publish anymore but I do still like drawing comics- especially on I mostly do them for fun & draw characters I dig. I sell a few occasionally at a local comic shop or con which supports my comics/toy habit. The \S/girl one was for my wife.

I loved the use of 1 or 2 characters on a white background & different colored mastheads on covers so much that when & I were designing our covers we were inspired to do something similar- meant as an homage & not a rip-off.😉#ILOVECOMICS

Sorry to hear won’t be playing next year. Hope they can regroup & come back even better. I liked hockey before my 1st game but really became a fan after seeing them play live. Have enjoyed creating art for them over the years.
