This is the #Jay, #Garrulusglandarius. I only just found out that "glandarius" means "of the #acorn" which is very pleasing as acorns make up a big part of the jay's diet. Jays have been implicated in the spread of oak forest post ice age cause of their habit of storing them

#WildWebsWednesday One of the best things about being an #illustrator is choosing which insects to place on what plants! Butterflies sit on their larval host plants, bees visit fruit trees...even though this does echo real life, I dont need to wait for it with a camera! #lucky
