I've taken my art from yesterday and decided to simplify matters...somewhat.

Beginning something new today, though the "newness" kept me up until 3:00 in the morning to get it this far. To me this is where it begins.

Off to a fine start today, grateful for a little rain, but then I'm not going anywhere for the long weekend, except into some new art territory.

I know I've been posting this work in progress a lot, but still, there's something special happening with it, and I like showing that as best I can, occasionally.

This is now almost finished - it's mostly a matter of how much more I smooth out the roughness.

Somehow this has suddenly taken on what seems to be more of a wet look...and we certainly could use some rain here.
