Time for an afternoon update, and rest for the eyes.

It's in progress.

At the risk of making a career out of "show & tell", this is one of 16 new sketches I have to play with...finally got around to getting them scanned. I'm going to be busy. 🤫

Here's one of the WIPs I have afoot this weekend.

Now I must resist the temptation to do more with this creation, even though I also feel there simply is no need to do so.

I am so grateful how working on art like this helps me fight off those demons 'just like that'.

It's time to at the very least, give it a rest. Sometimes I worry about doing too much with some of my creations, but only a little, not much.

In art I've noticed with some amusement, how it is that complications arise when simplicity arrives.
