It's still so upsetting that Seth didn't object to what Isis was telling the other gods about Anubis' arm despite it not being the full truth, and how utterly ashamed of himself he looked. He just harbours so much remorse and grief for what he did to his son.....(◕︵◕)
ENNEAD s2/
This progression of panels is still so painful yet beautiful; We go from seeing Seth's precious memories of child Anubis to Anubis grown up. And as he reaches to Anubis, it's almost as if he's reaching directly for the past, back when everything was happy...(˵¯͒⌢¯͒˵)
I absolutely adore how Seth just rushes into combat, especially like at the start of the 1st trial. I still laugh over how moment the event was announced he just dragged Horus off and DUNKED him into the water.... (´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ)
Horus and Seth's size difference has been on my mind lately, it's so cute!!! While Horus has always been muscular, in these panels he's just so much bigger than Seth and I love it so much.... (○❛ั 𓎟 ❛ั○ )
ENNEAD season 2 spoilers//
I LOVED them this chapter and I love watching Seth whack up the foreign god... 😭😭 These scenes also made me breathe such a big sigh of relief because at least we know Seth's still the same hilariously violent man! d(。•̀ᴗ-)✧
#ENNEAD spoilers + Seth analysis//
The extent of Seth's emotional repression and denial is very interesting, especially since his subconscious reactions are affected by this. For example, besides anger, Seth aldo smiles when he's extremely stressed, such as in the panel below.++
I still love how Horus just looks so dumbfounded after Seth kisses him; it's like he doesn't know what to do with himself after Seth cups his face. I cannot at all imagine how he felt receiving this attention from Seth after longing for him for ages....poor boy...(´ཀ`」 ∠)
This scene is one of the softest in the entirety of ENNEAD; Anubis' determined face is so precious!!! And despite him disliking killing, he's so proud of himself here because of how hunting is a skill he's learned from Seth, and also because he knew Seth would be proud...🥺🥺
It's heartbreaking that Seth could *easily* have killed Horus here, but despite how much he wanted it and how much the whole incident hurt him, it just took Anubis' scream to make him forget about his revenge and leave immediately. He just loves his son so much....(◕︵◕)
It's so funny when characters say things like "Seth would never attack us!" It's BECAUSE he's Seth that he's attacking you...he's moved the desert and speared someone through the chest for mildly injuring him before...don't underestimate his willingness to be violent....😭😭😭
