Seth won't leave my thoughts lately, I just can't stop thinking about him and how extra he is even when he's just reading or STANDING. Look at those poses, that posture! (⺣ﻌ⺣)
I wonder if Horus here was attempting to comfort Seth the same way Seth did when he was a child, or if it was him feeling like Seth was touchable for the first time in his life, as if his words then were so human and genuine that he was finally somewhat in reach.
ENNEAD season 2 spoilers//
Both the curse and the caravan have started their rounds; here comes the suffering and betrayal we all know is inevitable inevitable but weren't ready for. Poor Seth. (っ◞‸◟ c)
Horus has this terrifying skill of showing NO emotion when Seth tells his terrible jokes. It probably comes with the years of hiding his pining...
But it makes for such a cute dynamic! A boisterous, teasing uncle and a nephew who pretends to resist his "charms" completely. 😭😭
ENNEAD's so full of tragedy but we forget the character who has it the worst: Thoth. Poor guy, he's such an easy target to throw under the bus...(・∀・;)
Seth's duality is truly mesmerising to watch; his solutions are either carefully crafted, observation-based actions, or "You're in my way and I need to punch things so I'm going to throw you VERY hard since you can't escape yourself," and I think that's incredible. (+・艸・+)
ENNEAD season 2 spoilers//
The foreign god managed to get quite close Seth today, and even landed a hand on his shoulder when speaking for once. He's also so used to Seth's anger at this point... it's almost like a comfortable relationship hehe~~! d(,,・ε´-,,)⌒☆
The connotations of this bracelet is so tragic; after hundreds of years of silence and betrayal, Nephthys' first interaction with Seth is sending him a cursed object. Not to mention that his son who he loves more than anything delivers it...it must be so crushing for Seth. 😭😭
ENNEAD rereads are great because they always challenge old perceptions; for example, I remember thinking that Seth was just insulted by Horus' comment, but after learning of Osiris' manipulation, it's clear why it's a sore spot. The layers all build on each other so well!♡
Seth's plan of attack against the foreign god and the bird is always to just throw things and I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that in some alternate universe he's a professional baseball pitcher....his aiming is spot on too......😭😭
