So I joke about my microbial view of cosmology: it’s tardigrades all the way down. I have stacked up various tardigrade figurines I have in honor of this idea. Then, I commissioned my friend Kristina to paint the concept. Isn’t her work beautiful?? @tardigradopedia
The wonderful Katie McKissick made this for me (I commissioned it) several years ago. I am turning it into stickers for my Biology 111A students this Spring, remote or not. Plus two other stickers! #Bio111A #TeamMolecular @univpugetsound

@origamiPete @swirlgirl31415 I adore the concept of kintsuge..

Also, @vexedmuddler illustrated Leonard Cohen's wonderful lyric.
Friends, @m3thyl was my #SecretSerratia who created this AWESOME artwork. Just check out his work---both scientific and artistic---and be amazed.

ICYMI: my #SecretSerratia created the perfect artwork for me. There are so many things in this art that are part of my life! @vexedmuddler created a great program! @ASMicrobiology @univpugetsound
For years, I have participated in @vexedmuddler's great #SecretSerratia microbial gift exchange. Just LOOK at what my #SecretSerratia made me?! SO MANY IN-JOKES AND EASTER EGGS! Once the artist says it's okay, I would love to tip my hat officially. @ASMicrobiology @univpugetsound
TFW one your first year writing students sends you a creative image of their topic: kleptoplastic Elysia, the sea slug that steals chloroplasts from algae and then uses them for a time! Creativity REALLY helps students, and it always warms my dark, cold heart. @univpugetsound
Esther was wonderful. @vexedmuddler did some art, as did @meganleestudio https://t.co/7UYmsYvpYb
