For here's a walrus posing for a holiday snap during a busy day in Pleistocene Doggerland (a landmass now under the north sea). The walrus is our modern species, but most of the other species are extinct.

Spending this working on the last few pages of text for LTTAII, including the last page describing a scene of fossil animals. This honour goes to a Silurian marine scene that which I painted for 's thesis. Agnathans and early gnathostomes FTW!
