If anyone is wondering how to support someone young or old (any age) through grief/loss/change. Then each of these have lots to offer. Core message is give people space to process on own terms and it's ok to be happy and sad (one doesn't cancel out other). #ReadersthatCare
For year 7/8 (and mature year 6). Looking for a few more books to go with these. Any suggestions? @lucasjmaxwell @tracyshopkins @jacquiS21
@IsleworthReads @smithsmm @alligatorsmouth @Booktrust Some more suggestions. But if you only using one book I'd probably choose The Boy and the Moonimal.
One of things love about being a bookseller. Is when you look up a new book by one of your favourite authors @moiraworld and discover lots of other books by the same imprint. #ReadersthatCare
@pollyL @DynamicDeps @smithsmm @Teacherglitter @Mr_AlmondED @Suchmo83 If it's a year 2/3 class your looking for books for. Then in the easier end I'd recommend these.
@MrOwen25272543 @MrTs_NQTs If you want to deviate to Vikings and or Norse mythology these are all ace, and brilliant texts for year 5.
@timidstepper @JenniferKillick For more accessible spine chilling try Aveline Jones and Bigwoof conspiracy. For authors that like @JenniferKillick are pros at multi character development try Natasha Farant and Mark Dawson.
Publishers if you have a new picture book publishing September or October. Suitable for 4 to 8 year olds. Where the main characters are ALL animals (no humans allowed) that would compliment the collection below please let me know. Thanks.
@katehitchings1 @lil_on_sea @Teacherglitter @one_to_read Personally for whole class I think. Out of Blue and Black Rock are better than any chapter book for that age. But, R enjoyed this first chapter book series in year 2.
