Back in 2005 I got to design a whole submarine for a short film. Lots of cutaways. 1/3

I like cutaways. Looking back I realize I've done more than I remembered.

Cutaway from a book project that never went anywhere. I think it stands up alright, though there are some things I would do differently now.

Old, but maybe not terrible. These were experiments with stretching somewhat realistic details over flamboyant shapes. Might revisit sometime.

#faceyourart I should do more characters. I enjoy them and I could use the practice.

Process, if anybody is interested. Still evolving, to say the least.

A more refined sketch. I seem to default to spacecraft with minmaxed weaponry. Turning a YT-1300 into a gunship while playing the old West End Star Wars RPG warped me. Probably best not to ask about my characters.
