Sad to hear we lost Juan Giménez, a giant of sci-fi illustration who collaborated with Alejandro Jodorowsky on the multi-generational epic The Metabarons. Blew my mind to see hundreds of pages of comic art in a grand style normally reserved for covers.
Apparently to COVID-19. :( https://t.co/6uAgzj92lV
Also, ICYMI from 1000 years ago (aka 2019), I uploaded a shiny new version of my #pixelart tutorial for beginners. For some it might be a great time to delve into this arcane art form. :)
Stay safe!

Friendly reminder to sneeze/cough into the crook of your elbow instead of your hands!
Spelunky 2 and UFO 50 didn't quite make it out in 2019 but I wanted to release something before the decade ran out... so I rebooted my old #pixelart tutorial! I hope people find it useful!
This will also pave the way for future #gamedev guides. :)

We just started reading this Bad Kitty book by @nickbruel and it's laugh-out-loud funny. Highly recommended!
I'm sure everyone knows about @The_Pigeon's Elephant & Piggie books, but just in case! Amazing comedic timing in these stories about friendships.
Piggie is referred to as "she" - a detail that means a lot to our daughter (the first time it came up, she asked me to reread it).
@MobyGames Had too much fun posting tiny pixel people earlier... time to do it again! Thanks for sharing your favorites in the thread, as well. Let's collect 'em all! #retrogaming

Ooh, we're in for a treat! One of my favorite Retro streamers, @Macaw45, is about to play an obscure PC-98 adventure game by Koei that's based on Dante's Divine Comedy. Excellent pixel art and surprisingly faithful (no pun intended).
