Here's another Prince of Egypt painted scene and the color rough. We would paint the rough (color key) small and quickly, get director approval then paint the finish that appears in the movie. All acrylics.

Here's a piece from DreamWorks road to El Dorado from the Jade Jaguar attack sequence, I remember how hard this painting was to do in acrylics, I'll post a couple crop-ins coming up...

A color key moment from DreamWorks Shark Tale. We tried to do splashy "broken" color even in these moodier scenes to keep the iridescent underwater shimmer alive.

Atmosphere was an important part of the styling and staging for DreamWorks The Legend of Puss in Boots. Even in interiors. Here's one of the color key roughs from the show.
