I think some folks were disputing this a while back. Do we know that Spectrovenator's chin was as pronounced as is often depicted? Did this idea come from the silhouette of this skeletal? For the record, I am decidedly *not* a paleontologist and am not trying to make a (1/2)

Oddly, the living bird doesn't have these clawed forelimbs at all. I've always imagined that Kevin could be a descendant/relative of the South American phorusrhacids, or "Terror Birds." (Kelenken by @DinosaurDrawing)
