Was on campus today, and after a zoom meeting I took a late lunch and drew near the office. This is the Earth and Planetary Sciences Building. Nice Spring day today, and not very much sneezing either.
Part 13 in the virtual tour: Nantes. Laboured over this one a bit, yet less detailed than others. Didn't find as much in virtual Nantes that jumped out at me as much. I like their football team's kits from the 80s and 90s though.
Ten years ago today this was my work desk at #ucdavis (I was still graduate coordinator), just one monitor, lots of notes.
Seven years ago today I drew the big old barn on Covell, I'd been meaning to sketch it for a while. It was gone about a month later! Really glad I caught it when I did.
Seven years ago today, Tibet Nepal in Davis, corner of G and 3rd, it looks very different on this corner now! #daviscalifornia
Two Jags. Laguna Beach. Last weekend, had to draw them of course. An old Mark IV (1940s?) and a white XJS (70s or 80s maybe), beauties. The Mark IV a was spotless, looked like a big shiny toy. Woof.
Had two margaritas for the birthday, which was nice. Drew the glass while watching some clone wars before cake time.
This is #5 in the #virtualsketchtourdefrance and we are in historic Rouen, birthplace of King Edward IV, Gustave Flaubert, David Trezeguet, and Pierre Gasly. Next up, somewhere else in Normandy.
