On this day four years ago (only four! seems longer) I did a small art-about show at Putah Creek winery, it went ok, don't remember selling anything, had some conversations I think, and tasted zero wine. I remember wearing a Sampdoria shirt though.

Oops, forgot to actually finish it; now it’s done. Maybe I’ll draw some of my favourite albums. Another project to get through pandemic time.

Twenty five years old this album, hard to believe.

Did some sketching too. My glasses would fog up around my mask while sketching (sometimes happens when I'm looking down a lot), but since it was so foggy anyway I never noticed.

Four years ago today, first day of USk Manchester 2016! Dinner in the evening with sketching pals, some I'd known for years, some I'd just met. It was cold so I had to share a blanket with Arnaud de Meyer. Manchester is pretty ace actually, it was my first time there.

Four years ago yesterday (July 26 2016) I went to Knebworth with my Mum, sister and nephew, and we drew dinosaurs.

A year ago today, July 27 2019, Amsterdam still, another hot day, but I relaxed a bit more, didn't rush, spent time at the hotel, and then celebrated the end of the symposium in the evening with sketching friends, drinks, chat, late night dinner, & then early hours car sketching

Rest of the day felt like an overheated blur, seeing people and trying to draw, but I met Donald Saluling (@PDXSaluling) for the first time and he let me borrow his paints to sketch him. And then after a much-needed rest and a late dinner that night I sketched Int'Aepjen

One year ago today I was in Amsterdam and just overwhelmed by the heat, made me forget which day it was. I really enjoyed the workshop with Shari Blaukopf (@SBlaukopf) in the morning, drawing boats in the harbour.

Four years ago today I went for beers with @Macca_78 and @paulheaston in Camden & Kentish Town, talking a lot of Beatles...
