Trying to paint people... I think I need to learn a process

I have grown slightly tired of this... I think I struggle with rendering a lot, so perhaps I should be focusing my efforts there?

I have now replicated the skull from the art gallery... It's not perfect, but I think it looks very nice indeed :)
