I saw a photo of an adorably compact cat on Tumblr and decided to draw him.
I cynically generated some AI images based on the prompt "Victorian children dismembering a giraffe", but what I actually got was wholesome adventure tales featuring 19th-century kids and their long-necked herbivorous pet, and now I want to read this non-existent E. Nesbit novel.
Controversial truth: the #MultiverseOfMadness was nowhere near as semi-aquatic as it could have been. https://t.co/B635W9klA1
A few interesting creatures I encountered at @tate Modern yesterday:
- an appealingly minimalist doggy nose (or possibly some sort of sentient lozenge) by Marie Laurencin
- a devilish little dude by Ibrahim El-Salahi
- the world's happiest horsey-bird by Grace Pailthorpe
It’s well worth dropping in to Sothebys at the moment because they’ve got shedloads of great art on display including Degas, Antony Gormley, Anselm Kiefer, and a cow looking at the camera like she’s on The Office, by Fernand Leger.
The @SILibraries Tumblr account posted this illustration of male monitor lizards fighting, taken from a 1962 science book.
I decided they should be lovers, not fighters. 🦎❤️🦎
After this week’s #BBCGhosts, I couldn’t resist a period-dress Robin. Isn’t he saucy?
Give #AlligatorLoki his own spin-off cartoon series, please and thank you.
Gratuitous #Loki / #Supertato mash-up art, because when else am I going to have an excuse to draw an EVIL PEA?
