Something like this, where Sailor Moon is missing her hair ornaments, is an animation mistake. An in between frame used specifically to create a fluid motion in animation is not. Nobody would even notice her fingers unless they watched the segment in slow motion.

It’s still amusing how lax the editing for the old Sailor Moon dub was. Nudity was okay as long as we didn’t see anything. This wouldn’t fly on any other show on Toonami.

Sincerely hoping for Cutie Honey: Tennyo Densetsu to get a physical re-release or a new art book to commemorate Honey’s 50th anniversary.
