We can spend a lot of time looking back - our nation is currently doing that in the wake of the death of HM the Queen. It brings comfort, it reminds us of things perhaps long forgotten, it’s chance to revisit memories and emotions, joy, sadness, thankfulness, peace, challenge -

some bring back memories of happy times when things seemed positive, others done almost in survival mode, as a form of therapeutic intervention. They all act as markers in time - the sketching equivalent of a photo album.

So I have been sorting out old sketches, and there are a lot to go through. It’s amazing looking back and finding ones that have been sitting at the back of old pads and drawers. I can recall where I was when I did them,

The results of the @MalleLondon and @morganmotor ‘Superform’ art project I was invited to collaborate on. For charity auction for @MovemberUK and @Missionmotorspt - this was my entry amongst a group of artists, photographers, sculptors. Really grateful to have been a part of it.
