We tried to avoid blacks and shadows and the cliches of the genre as much as possible and embraced white, saturated colours and a more luminous language, closer to comic books.

First of all, the project is a free sequel to Dracula, set in the 21st century (yes ... the BBC series caught us mid-project and was a pleasant surprise). So on the one hand, we wanted to be faithful to Dracula, but on the other, adapt our proposal to its context and audience.

As expected, one regrets many decisions as soon as a project ends. This case is no exception. Although I would now change many things, it is reassuring to reflect on the whys and remember that they were there for a reason.

Gamebook lovers: 'Drácula, Rastro de Sangre' by @cubusgames is now available on iOS and Android (currently in Spanish and Catalan). I thought it would be nice to make a thread slicing through some of the visual decisions we made for the game👇
