to anybody more familiar than me on Unreal Engine: how do I clean this up? The mesh has smooth normal map and smooth normals but I get these very visible hard edges on it
@lucas27dark nah, it's gonna be a mostly black body with glowing parts and a core in the chest, I have to integrate her head somehow so that it doesn't just look like a bodysuit, hope that works out.
also I'm doing it on a whim cause in the end she'll be almost completely covered lol
ok it's not perfect but I think i'm a good point, figured out how to get the aniso reflections and that's gud
well that was a nice break back to finishing the rest of the model i guess

@mokunachoi the pattern is just thes noise masks resized to fit my needs, they're triplanar AFAIK. It's also just for visualization but I'm planning to get the same effect in engine
the fade is literally just starting from black and adding soft polypaint as I go down
