In the final episode, when Galaxia breaks the Sword of Sealing, it turns back into Chibi Chibi. Originally, it was meant to turn into a flower, as it does in the picture book.

In the episode, Ikuko takes Chibi Chibi to a toy store, but in the original scenario, she took her shopping at a department store, as in the picture book.

The Inners are included in the fight with Sailor Buri in the picture book adaptation of episode 173.

Helios, Chibi Moon, and the Quartet are also trapped in more literal spiderwebs in the picture book than in the anime.
