I don't often have nightmares, but I do quite often see monsters in normal dreams. Lately I've been doing watercolour sketches of the ones I remember.
The Split Face didn't seem hostile, but he was covered in old blood.
I finally drew Fret and Larkspur in colour, now you can see the very important colour schemes that I never show! They rapidly change to match the environment in which they live; Fret lives in a birch grove, Larkspur lives in a marsh.
Here is a new Pocket Witch, Vox! Vox was born from a little girl's happiness at singing along tunelessly to the radio, and took the shape of a song. She can mimic any voice and change her outfit to match her songs.
She likes to hang out in karaoke bars.
Here's a weird school uniform comparison that I drew for reasons I can't remember. Nettle (left) attends a school not unlike the one I went to and wears a uniform not unlike the one I wore.
I quite often design characters with important colour schemes and then draw them in black and white forever, so here are some colour pictures of the vrega so you can see their lovely and only slightly corpse-like skin.
More cards, it's true. This time a peppermint fairy for my grandma who turned 90 this year.
Everyone thought it was stinging nettles and I'm not sure if that's because I drew them badly or because the mint we grow is common mint so my family didn't recognise peppermint plants.
I found this on my phone while editing photos, another birthday card! My sister asked for money for a birth chart last year so I drew her the Moon, Sun and Rising sign. I didn't scan it unfortunately so this is my only picture.
Is it too late for another #mermay picture? This was a birthday card for a friend who loves mermaids. I really like drawing the 'white horses' on waves.
I drew this as my little sister's birthday card this year because she loves Spring flowers. On the card it was captioned "A Garden Party" because I can't resist putting terrible puns on things.
