I've just realized that I essentially have only one day to finish the game since I will need to spend time with the family during the weekend.
However, I managed to add menus and now mobs turn to ghosts when the hunger level is low... #pico8 #7DRL #roguelike #indiegame
Today was way better than yesterday. I was able to add a dummy hunger system, a mob spawning other mobs, a potion (the sprite for it needs to be improved), fade effects, teleportations to the next levels, and music. #7drl #pico8 #roguelike
Ok, today was even less efficient than yesterday. Probably two lectures affected me too much:(. Just added animations for a couple more mobs and checked that the "engine" supports slow mobs. #7drl #pico8 #roguelike

If you somehow missed it, Google celebrates Olga Ladyzhenskaya's birthday today. She was an amazing mathematician and I hope I achieve at least 1/100 of her achievements. So I am very proud that I graduated from SPbSU and PDMI, two institutions where she worked.
