The Nue has the head of a monkey, the body of a tanuki, the legs of a tiger and a snake for a tail. As a shapeshifter, it can transform into a flying black cloud.

Nekomata were once ordinary cats that were transformed into a Youkai. Only the most powerful cats with the longest tails could become a Nekomata. They often shapeshift into humans, being able to speak and dance just like a regular person.

Kasa-obake (傘おばけ) are spirits that take the form of an old and broken oiled-paper umbrella once abandoned. They possess one eye, a jumping leg and long tongue with some having additional features such as multiple limbs.
