Now that #SmashUltimate DLC has wrapped up, we can take a look at how much the #Splatoon series has been represented in the game overall!
Firstly, #Splatoon2 had a Splatfest celebrating the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Smash also has art focusing on Splatoon and Inkling

In #Splatoon3, the former Agent 3 and current captain of the New Squidbeak Splatoon appears to have battle scars on her tentacles. This detail is most noticeable on the 2D art, but can faintly be seen on her in-game model.

In #Splatoon3, Mr. Craig Cuttlefish has toenails. Playable inklings do not have toenails, and Craig seems to be the only member of the species to have them. This detail is also present on his model from the first game, but isn't as visible.

As quite a few people have pointed out, Cap'n- er, Mr. Cuttlefish is bald, aside from the two tentacles we could see in the first game. This has actually been the case since he first appeared, as his model never had any more hair modeled under his hat!

Agent 3 isn't just wearing Craig Cuttlefish's outfit for no reason, they're wearing it because they're the new captain of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, as Mr. Cuttlefish has retired! This leaves the "Agent 3" title open, which the #Splatoon3 protagonist will be adopting!

The number of the game appears to directly correlate with the number of holes it's main weapon shoots from. #Splatoon's Splattershot shoots from one, #Splatoon2's Splat Dualies shoot from two, and #Splatoon3's bow shoots from three.
