The number of the game appears to directly correlate with the number of holes it's main weapon shoots from. #Splatoon's Splattershot shoots from one, #Splatoon2's Splat Dualies shoot from two, and #Splatoon3's bow shoots from three.

For the #Splatoon2 x Sanrio collaboration, promotional art and plushies of Off the Hook were created. In both the art and plush, Marina's skin tone appears to be significantly lighter than it should be.

The charger used by Marie in #Splatoon2's final boss is actually the version of the Hero Charger from the first Splatoon, which can be unlocked by completing amiibo challenges. It is not the same as Splatoon 2's hero charger.

Unlike other octolings, Marina's phone in-game is the same as the inkling phones. Her phone looks different in various pieces of art, however.

Various pieces of Splatfest art show that not only do Marina's fingertips change colour to match her ink colour, her toes also do the same thing. Unfortunately, this cannot be checked in-game, as her toes cannot be seen.
