reminds me of •avenging spider-man #12-#13 (2012) where, spoilers, spider-man's been hypnotized to believe he's dreaming.. with deadpool there to guide him out, inception style

i just love the whole "enemies to friends etc" dynamic so much, starting with spidey expressing how much he hates deadpool's guts, quitting the avengers because they had invited him-

...and as it turns out, deadpool took the time 'running away', to return with a bomb planted in himself (he Did return with a plan, to spidey's surprise😂🙌)

found another with some fun bits, spider-man rescues wade from having his spine torn out, then deadpool "ditches" spidey for being "a bad friend", of course deadpool still returning to save him
