ef a fairy tale of the two is yet another VN I haven't read because I watched the anime adaptation. I did like its unique storytelling, though I believe the VN did not switch between couples like the anime did. Story was good but not really interested in reading it in VN form now

If I were one of those people who changed profile pictures by the season, I'd consider this in a few weeks.

Shuffle is one of the cases where I haven't either read the VN or watched the anime. I was mildly interested in seeing a yandere heroine... but apparently that's only in the anime? Either way, doesn't help MangaGamer seems to have parted with all their Navel licenses.

Kanon is another case where I haven't read the VN cuz I watched the anime adaptation. Thankfully the 2006 KyoAni version is considered one of the better VN adaptations, to the point I've seen people say the anime is straight up better. Helps the anime art is better than the VN.

Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai is one of of the most popular translated VNs that are purely slice of life. I am interested in it and toneworks VNs. However, I heard the character routes are VERY long and almost drama-less. This would be a perfect VN to read handheld in short bursts.

I have almost no interest in yaoi/BL VN stories. If I were to read one, Hashihime seems like one of the ones that seems like it has a good story that just happens to have BL in it. Has a pretty good rating on vndb too. But the BL stuff kinda kills most of my interest in it.

Every time I see someone talk about or show who their favorite Muramasa girl is

Fata Morgana is one of the most popular visual novels to release last decade. It seems to have some pretty solid storytelling, even with a slow opening. That said, I admit the reason I haven't read is VERY shallow... The main story has 0 voice acting. Floors me that it doesn't.

I like the Fate/Stay series, mostly stuff around the original cast. However... I haven't been too motivated to read Hollow Ataraxia. Apparently it has a mix of humorous slice of life, but also introduces a buncha new characters? I wonder if they'll ever make an anime of this.
