The Rance series has like all the anti-checkmarks of a VN for me... it takes place in a classic fantasy world, has a "justified rapist" protag, has gameplay, has no voice acting... But at the same time this series is pretty damn well-received so I've considered it here and there.

3 visual novel girls that had insane Ange potential but didn't get enough screentime/a route: Madoka (Aokana), Kotori (Riddle Joker), Akari (Making Lovers)

Cartagra is a prequel to Kara no Shoujo which I've considered reading before KnS... but I've heard mixed reception about its execution, like MC sexing lotsa people? Apparently it's not needed for Kara no Shoujo anyway. That said I like murder mysteries and well done atmosphere.

For some reason my first impression of seeing these two were darker skinned versions of Eruru and Aruru from Utawarerumono

I cant see this Kotori chibi from Kaginado's site as anything but her trying to imitate the sPonGeBoB mEmE (god typing that was painful)

Chihiro Himukai Always Walks Away is one of the best ways to do a short visual novel. Adult age moege is already tough to find and having a comfy and humorous writing style helped for me a lot. Chihiro herself was nice and had decent enough depth. Was a bit too nukige sometimes.

Sugar Style started off pretty good, but then had 3 stupid accidental pervert scenarios in the prologue alone which made me rage quit. Apparently the humor calms down towards the end of common, but I dunno if I'll get motivated to restart. Sucks since I like the college setting.

Similar to Riddle Joker, I only read 1 route in Amairo: Shirley's. This VN is the first non-Pulltop one I read in Japanese. Shirley was quite amusing, being a doujin artist who liked to ship her friends. Sadly Yuzusoft's "false pervert shaming" humor was in full force throughout.
