#FairyTaleTuesday -Lamp Origins- 🧞
'The Fisherman and the Jinni' -from the Arabian Tales-
has a genie bound in a jar. When the jar is opened the genie comes out in a plume of smoke.
So, the concept of a genie bound to a household container does have a basis in Arabic myth.

While I love rainbows 🌈 and sparkles ✨ as much as anyone, let's not forget Unicorns are also majestic creatures of every enchanted wood! 🌲🌲
Today lets celebrate them to help us remember how much more fun life can be when we let a little magic into it. ✨

Fiddlehead Fern --this plant puts forth a wonderful seed at midnight known as a 'Wish Seed!'
It was to be carefully collected and gave the power to discover hidden treasures.

In English Folklore, Wicked Jenny or Jenny Greenteeth is a river hag that would pull children into the water to drown.
