Oh man so many good characters in this tier!
Campy almost *too* mysterious for me in SC, but his appearance in Azure and onward was perfect. "The Eyes and Ears of the Grandmaster." So much intrigue!

He was characterized really well in CS too. I love this chaotic lil dude so much

Josh bugged the hell out of me in FC. He was such a know-it-all and kind of an ass to Estelle.

But man, that twist ending, plus all the craziness of SC totally endeared me to him. Ex-enforcer turned cool good guy will never get old.

With B Tier, we're getting to the characters that are truly a cut above. Like I said in the beginning, I wanted a kinda balanced bell-curve when I was making this tierlist, so only the greats have made it this high.

With CS's bloated run time, it's awesome when a character goes through significant changes throughout the games.

Cedric is the best example of that. The change from meek lil kid to asshole try-hard is a lot of fun to watch, and I LOVE that he becomes an Enforcer.

Laura is such a badass. She almost seemed too cool for Class VII in CS1. She's a great rep of the Arseid style, and I love watching her go from devoted apprentice to undeniable master.

Honestly, I feel like they could have done a lot more with her, but she's still great.

Richard is another villain I like a lot. I find his motivation of "Liberl is screwed without Cassius" to be pretty understandable, plus the twist that he's merely a pawn for Weissman only adds to the intrigue.

Very cool that he's playable in 3rd as well!!

Thomas was so friggin annoying in CS1 and 2, but the moment he revealed his true identity, I was ready to love this man. He gets a fantastic redesign in CS3 as well.

As the Second Dominion, i feel like there's tons they can do with his character, and I really wanna see more.

Duvalie is such a fun character. I feel like she brings an energy to Ouroboros that was sorely missing.

She's mostly a joke in CS2, and she feels pretty tacked-on to the playable cast of CS4, she still endeared herself to me really quickly at the tail end of CS4.

Alfin is such a sweetheart, and I love seeing her relationships with her brothers shift and grow. I was always happy to see her, even if I fucking hate Elise.

She's got a fun role in CS2, and I love her lute bonding event in CS4 as well. She cares so much for Alster 🥺
