Though she doesn't get a ton of characterization, Luciola was always super cool to me. A lot of that stems from her connections to Schera, but she also has cool abilities and an interesting backstory.

I want to see more from her, or at least more characters like her!

The Gnome plot didn't really land for me since it was mostly preordained, cyclical role-fulfillment.

But individually, Black Alberich stood out in CS4's cast of villains due to him being actually, ya know, evil. He's a conceited dick with a badass combat shell. I can dig it.

Towa is so cute!! She's always so friendly and wholesome, and she gets some great moments and characterization in her later appearances too, which is rare.

She's not particularly exciting to me personally, but if I had to pick a female ship for Rean, it'd be Towa hands down.

I absolutely loved Claire in the first two CS games. She's so stoic we badass and also super hot!
...so I was really disappointed in CS3 and 4 when her lack of agency shone through. She becomes a spineless sadsack, which is so sad! I really want to like you, Claire! 😔

Starting at the bottom with Rutger.. This guy was definitely cool. I was really excited to learn about Zephyr after playing Azure.

Sadly he kinda fell flat in some ways for me since didn't have any particularly intimidating moments, nor was he ever really a threat to the player.

It's been a bit, but we're moving on to C Tier! These are all characters I honestly really like-- I just wanted C tier to be the biggest to give the list a bell curve.

Honestly, the end of Azure was a fucking whirlwind, so her villain reveal kinda came out of left field. I don't totally understand what all she's capable of or why, but
Having her replace Weissman as the 3rd Anguis is sick as hell.

Not gonna lie, Shirley freaked me out in Azure. I always feel so bad for the fucked up kids of Trails.

Ignoring the groping stuff, Shirley really grew on me. She's got a sick weapon, and I love that she became an enforcer. I'd love to see more of her and Randy interacting.

Garcia and Walter are two buff badasses, so I definitely like them. Garcia is an imposing villain in Zero, and I love how he's got a fun dynamic with both Randy and Lloyd.

Walter has great interactions with Zin and Kilika, plus he has that awesome S-Break 😎

Alisa is another Class VII member who I like just fine, but I never developed an affinity for since there are just so many characters in CS. She has a great moment with Rean in CS1, but I was kinda bored by her ever since.
