Romance cover-type silliness on Monte Marte 100% cotton paper. The high contrast value areas work surprisingly well (for me) despite everything else being mushy. I can't recommend this paper, it sucks up paint like mad. I guess not all cotton papers are equal. Or it's just me.

Not sure if I'm seeing progress, but u do realize that a large part of what helps is being braver when using values ( light vs dark) areas.

Trying to find a coloring style for this piece. The short Thousand Autumns fan comic. The scene takes place at sunset so tones should be warm oranges and purples. Not trying to ape the actual scene, but use my own interpretation. I'll revise background later.
