Day three of #sciartportfolioweek! Today I'll show off a bunch of the insects I've done. Inverts are all too often overlooked! #sciart
In the spirit of #sciartportfolioweek I'll tack on two more. I used to do a whole lot of paleoart and had a dinosaur-a-day project I worked on in 2014. Here are two of my favorites that still hold up pretty well! L: Buitreraptor R: Daemonosaurus
It's #FemaleBirdDay! I've been consciously trying to include female birds in my art more often lately. Here are a few I've done in the last year or so!
Bonus content: I did a digital thumbnail of this painting ahead of time in order to lay out the color scheme. I didn't stick completely to it but it helped in the planning a lot!
Also have some bonus bees for #WorldBeeDay. I paint Vosnesensky's Bumble Bee a lot, since we find them often in our research!
Did the unicorn challenge for a few folks on another site. Trumpet horn, rabbit ears, Australian snubfin head, goat eyes, snake mane, platypus body, teacup hooves, rat tail, skunk color, and it has the magical ability to change genders.
Truly a majestic animal.
One more little #EarthDay post I'll do is some of my scenery art. I haven't done as many of these as I'd like, I find painting landscapes to be really relaxing. All of these are based on photos I've taken.
Digital ghost: just a (late) little thing for Donquixote Week over on tumblr.
#ONEPIECE
It's still #PortfolioDay so let's have some more, shall we?
Good morning, #PortfolioDay! I'm a #SciArt ist with a side of fantasy and fanart illustrations. Most of my art is of birds 🐦 but I've been expanding into other taxa, especially insects! More at https://t.co/yAPhL9UJNJ
