@Short_Box Before i even started the roughs you see above, I worked out what I wanted most of the main story beats to be in a sort of colour script. around this point I decided I just wanted to use the 3-panels-per-page format so it felt a lot like storyboarding an animated short.

@Short_Box previously I posted some of the initial designs I did of the characters when I pitched it to @Short_Box, so I thought I'd also post some of the thumbnail drawings I did too. here's some pages side-by-side with the finished product. RIP Veronica's cat :(

it's a happy/sad scifi story about a scientist who builds an AI
and it takes place over the course of approximately 513 years.

one more favourite bit (i won't bump this anymore, promise): sci-fi heroine Lorna and her weird blobby spacesuit. I imagine bits like the gun morphing like something Masaaki Yuasa would animate!

also love that the Single-Strike Style Urshifu is pictured doing that elbow strike that's kind of iconic to bajiquan (aka the coolest looking pose/style in martial arts)
