this bit is a passage from The Left Hand of Darkness that i like. the edition she's reading from is an extremely old and yellowed first edition copy.

did anyone notice that the book veronica is reading to daisy in Homunculus is I Want My Hat Back by jon klassen? i got a bit reference-happy with that bit in hindsight. i know it's a little cringe but i do like shouting out other media i'm fond of.
